Off-topic - Wild Boar sighted at Seletar Camp
Despite being called a concrete jungle due to our success in globalization, Singapore are sprouting out with urban buildings, roads etc ... Leaving the wild lifes in Singapore in questions. Some documentary such as Animal Planet, claimed Singapore is known as Wild Island.
Good news to share, I have seen many different types of wildlife during my stay at Seletar Camp. I saw King Cobras, Snakes, birds, squirrels, toads, road runners, monitor lizards, rodants and my recent experiences with wild boar in my garden and around Piccadilly Circle.
A month or 2 ago, due the fallen jackfruits, it lure the wild boar to tunnel into my yard. Thanks to my faithful dogs, Hershey and Jadie chased the wild boar out if my yard.
Just this Saturday around 12.10am, when you were driving home, we met a brown wild board ransacking at the Chatsworth Kindergarten fences. I stopped my car and stare into her eyes, while we standstill for 30-45 seconds, the pig dashes across the circle into the woods.
Now I know where the wild boar hideout is and I'm sure they are thriving.
I'm glad to witness flourishing wild life still string in concrete Singapore.
