Most of these activities are open to both purebred and mixed-breed dogs Dog sports are activities which you and your dog can participate in order to bring out the best in your companion.
It does not end here, there are dog sports like Agility, Flyball, Frisbee catching, Doggy Dancing, lure coursing, terrier trials, retrieving trials, hunting tests, herding trials and much, much more. All you need is a dog with the instinct, attitude and physical capability to play the sport and your time, patience and training ability.
DOG AGILITY
Fun and enriching sport for you and your dog
The Agility course is one of the most popular tests of a dog's skill, training and concentration. Set up on a flat field, the objective is to run the dog through the obstacles in a stipulated manner and order in the shortest possible time.
Time is added to the final score for each mistake, be it skipping an obstacle, hesitating, making a wrong turn or other errors.
The handler is on the course with the dog, the distance between the dog and handler will depend on how well trained the dog is and how good the handler is at giving directions.
NOSE WORK

Nose work is training to turn on your dog's nose to start relying on their ability to SMELL and to do detection or search work.
This Canine Scent work teaches our dog to find, detect, search for TOYS, FOODS, DRUGS, and EXPLOSIVES.

Disc Dogging is a easier field sport as in all you need a flying disc or frisbee and a dog that is willing to play fetch.

FLYBALL
Those dogs are flying
Flyball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over a line of hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring-loaded pad, then back to their handlers while carrying the ball.

This is a fast and furious sport, in dog's term, is flying and barking heads off Sport.
